Small Approx. 2" inches end to end. 3 Strand (Fits nicely Small Deities Five inch to nine inch Deities). 
Medium Approx. 2 1/2" inches 4 Strand.    (Fits nicely ten inch  Deities and up).
(Please do measurements to make sure you get the size you need.) The string is interchangeable. You can put any color string you like. Some devotees like to use a metallic string.
